Move through life with more ease, possibility, and freedom in your body

Movement coaching & classes in Boulder, CO & beyond that blends education with therapeutic mobility training and play.

Hi, I’m Leah Woods, MFA.

Dancer. Trainer. Educator. Artist.

I have over two decades of experience as a professional dancer, teacher, and creative mover. My career has been shaped by countless mentors, techniques, trainings, and global influences, but my own experiences with chronic pain and a hip replacement have been my most embodied teachers.

Today, I help movers of all experience levels recover from injury, reprocess pain, refine their skills, and rediscover joy through movement. Rooted in Boulder, CO, with offerings across the world, I facilitate movement classes, dance workshops, and private coaching sessions.

Collage of Leah in various dance settings over the years. Copy beside image of a hip mobility drill reads "12 weeks post op: this position was reactive and painful for 6 years, since 2019. This photo is the first time it hasn't hurt since."

My movement training is inspired by:

Contemporary dance | Acrobatics | Yoga | Capoeira & various martial arts | Handstands | Floorwork | Improvisation | Somatic practices

Move with me in community

As adults, we rarely get supportive opportunities to play, experiment, and learn new skills. In a movement class, you’ll have the freedom and support to try new things, build strength, and leave feeling more capable in your body.
